commissions

• my base rate for composing original music¹ is $50 usd per 30 seconds, with an optional $25 usd for non-attribution licensing. this may be subject to change based on the complexity of the request, so please get in touch with me if you would like an estimated quote.

• please be prepared to provide a detailed description of your circumstances and what is needed - the pricing and final product will be more accurate the more specific you are.

• commission work begins once an agreement has been reached and after a 50% upfront payment of the agreed price of the work. the remaining 50% of the originally agreed price + any additional expenses accrued (licensing, major revisions, etc) are to be paid upon completion.

• extensive, larger-scale works such as soundtracks can have different rates and licensing agreements. please contact me to discuss details on your project.

terms and conditions

an agreement to pay for a commission is an agreement to the below:

• i reserve the right to decline requests.
• commissions are started after a 50% upfront payment of the agreed commission price. this payment is non-refundable outside of special circumstances where i deem myself physically or mentally unable to complete a started request.
• drafts and incomplete versions of commissioned pieces are not to be publicly shared before the final product is delivered.
• completed commissions are free to use for commercial purposes under the creative commons attribution 4.0 international license and may be uploaded by myself for public availability and usage, unless otherwise specified.
• in the case that attribution is undesirable or not possible, a non-attribution license can be purchased upon completion of the commissioned piece.
• i retain ownership of commissioned music and the right to showcase them on social media and portfolios.
• reselling of my music is prohibited.
